Football: famous on and off the pitch



  1. Tommy Hilfiger not too long ago signed a contract with Thierry Henry, International footballer and skipper for Arsenal F.C., showing the popular trend between football and fashion. About a decade ago David Beckham became one of the first footballer’s absorbed by luxuries, style, and a love for fashion which has given him better credit for his hair and looks rather than his ability to play. In the World Cup, Armani designed the uniforms for the Italian national team. Numerous critics have blamed England’s team for their posh living and fashion for their lack of performances. Some people say that to find England’s best footballers just attend a high-end fashion show and they are either in the audience or partaking in the event.
